Duties
Assist senior stylists with daily salon operations and client services
Support hair styling procedures, including cutting, coloring, and styling hair
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide a positive experience
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and stations are sanitized and ready for use
Engage in ongoing learning about current hair trends, techniques, and products
Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and foster repeat business
Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that promotes client comfort and confidence
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license or certification required
Experience working in the beauty industry preferred; passion for hair styling is essential
Strong communication skills and ability to connect well with clients
Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, professional demeanor
Dependable, motivated, and eager to learn and grow within the salon environment
Ability to work three assisting days (hourly pay) and two days behind the chair (50/50 commission split)
