Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hairstylist role based at Pearl Hair Studio in Chicago, IL. The Hairstylist will provide a variety of hair services, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments tailored to each client’s needs and preferences. Day-to-day tasks include consulting with clients, recommending appropriate hair care solutions, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation at the styling station and shared areas. The role involves managing appointment times, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting a positive, collaborative team atmosphere. The Hairstylist will also stay informed about new trends, products, and techniques to continually improve service quality.

Qualifications

Skills in Hair Styling and Hair Care, including cutting, coloring, and finishing techniques suited to diverse hair types.
Formal training or certification in Cosmetology, with a valid state cosmetology license or eligibility to obtain one in Illinois.
Strong Customer Service abilities, including building client relationships and ensuring a positive salon experience.
Clear and professional Communication skills for effective consultations and collaboration with team members.
Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to maintain cleanliness and follow health and safety regulations.
Willingness to work a consistent full-time schedule, including evenings or weekends as needed.
Experience in a salon environment and familiarity with professional hair care products are beneficial.
