\nRole Description The Hairstylist at Matter salon and skin is a full-time, on-site position based in Tulsa, OK. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients, performing a range of hair services such as cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments, and recommending appropriate hair care routines and products. The role involves maintaining a clean, organized workstation, adhering to salon health and safety standards, and managing appointment timing to ensure smooth operations.

The Hairstylist will collaborate with the salon team, provide attentive customer service, and contribute to a positive, professional atmosphere. Building and retaining a loyal client base through excellent service, communication, and follow-up is a key part of the role.

\n Candidates should possess strong Hair Styling skills, including cutting, coloring, and finishing techniques.\n Candidates should possess Cosmetology training and a current state cosmetology license (or eligibility to obtain one in Oklahoma).\n Candidates should possess solid Hair Care knowledge, including product recommendations and treatment options for diverse hair types.\n Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to consult effectively and build long-term client relationships.\n Candidates should demonstrate reliability, professional appearance, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.\n Candidates should be comfortable working in a team-oriented salon environment and participating in ongoing education and skills development.\n Experience in salon operations, point-of-sale systems, and basic retail sales of hair and skin products is beneficial.\n
