In this role, the Hairstylist provides a variety of hair services, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments, tailored to client needs and preferences. Daily responsibilities include consulting with clients, recommending appropriate styles and products, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and following health and safety standards.

The Hairstylist also supports a positive client experience by managing appointment times, handling basic client inquiries, and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth salon operations.QualificationsStrong Hair Styling skills with experience in cutting, coloring, and finishing techniquesKnowledge of Cosmetology principles and current trends; valid cosmetology license as required by Michigan regulationsSolid understanding of Hair Care practices, including product selection and treatment for different hair types and conditionsDemonstrated Customer Service skills with a focus on client satisfaction and repeat businessEffective Communication skills to conduct consultations, explain services, and provide aftercare guidanceAbility to stand for extended periods and manage a consistent appointment schedulePrevious salon or barbershop experience is preferredReliability, punctuality, and a professional, inclusive approach to working with all clients
