Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Hairstylist role based at SIGNATURE DAY SPA in Carmel, CA. The Hairstylist will provide a range of hair services, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments, while ensuring each guest receives attentive, personalized care. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand their preferences, recommending appropriate hair care solutions, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. The role also involves educating clients on product usage, supporting retail recommendations, and collaborating with other spa professionals to deliver a seamless guest experience. The Hairstylist is expected to follow safety and sanitation standards and contribute to a positive, respectful team environment.

Qualifications

Strong Hair Styling and Hair Care skills, with the ability to perform cuts, styles, and treatments for diverse hair types.Cosmetology training and a valid cosmetology license (or eligibility to obtain one) in accordance with California state regulations.Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on building client relationships and delivering a welcoming, professional experience.Clear, professional Communication skills for effective client consultations and collaboration with team members.Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and sanitation in all services provided.Reliability in managing part-time schedules, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, or peak spa hours as needed.Experience in a salon or spa setting is beneficial, as well as familiarity with professional hair care products and retail recommendations.
