Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Hairstylist role based at Pretty Parlor Salon in Elizabethtown, PA. The Hairstylist will provide a variety of services, including haircuts, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to clients’ preferences and hair types. Day-to-day tasks include consulting with clients, recommending suitable services and products, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and following salon health and safety standards. The role also involves building and maintaining client relationships, managing appointment times efficiently, and contributing to a supportive, collaborative salon culture.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Hair Styling skills, including cutting, coloring, and finishing techniques.Candidates should possess Cosmetology knowledge, supported by a valid cosmetology license as required by Pennsylvania regulations.Candidates should possess Hair Care expertise, including product knowledge and the ability to recommend appropriate treatments.Candidates should possess Customer Service and Communication skills to provide a positive, professional client experience.Additional beneficial qualifications include prior salon experience, ability to work flexible hours, attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to ongoing education in current trends and techniques.
