Role Description The Hairstylist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mineola, NY, The Hairstylist will perform hair cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments, while maintaining a clean and organized workstation and adhering to salon safety and sanitation standards. Day-to-day tasks include conducting client consultations, recommending appropriate services and products, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. The Hairstylist will collaborate with the salon team on service offerings, support promotional activities, and contribute to a professional and inclusive salon culture.

Qualifications

Demonstrated proficiency in Hair Styling and Hair Care techniques, including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.Formal training or licensure in Cosmetology, with knowledge of current trends, best practices, and safety standards.Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to provide consultations, explain services, and build long-term client relationships.Ability to manage time effectively, maintain an organized workstation, and handle multiple appointments in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to participate in ongoing education, training, and team collaboration to refine skills and stay current with industry developments.
