Role Description The Hairstylist is a part-time, on-site role based at Francis Hair & Co. in Alpharetta, GA. This role involves consulting with clients to understand their preferences, performing haircuts, coloring, styling, and other hair care services, and recommending appropriate products and maintenance routines. The Hairstylist will manage appointment schedules, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and follow salon health and safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and retaining a loyal client base, processing payments, and supporting a positive, professional salon atmosphere through teamwork and excellent client service.

Qualifications

Strong Hair Styling skills, including cutting, coloring, and finishing techniquesKnowledge of Cosmetology principles and a current cosmetology license (or eligibility as required by Georgia state regulations)Experience with Hair Care practices, including product usage, treatments, and maintenance recommendationsDemonstrated Customer Service skills with a focus on client satisfaction and repeat businessEffective Communication skills for clear consultations and professional interactions with clients and team membersAbility to work part-time on-site, including evenings or weekends as neededAttention to hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in a salon environmentPrevious salon experience and an existing client base are beneficial but not required
