Role Description The Hairstylist is a full-time, on-site role based at Hair and Beauty Lab Tampa in Tampa, FL. In this role, the Hairstylist provides a variety of hair services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand their needs, recommending appropriate styles and products, and delivering services that align with professional standards and client expectations. The Hairstylist also manages appointment schedules, maintains a clean and organized workstation, and supports a positive, collaborative salon environment. Building strong client relationships through attentive service, clear communication, and consistent follow-up is an essential part of this position.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Hair Styling and Hair Care skills, including cutting, coloring, and finishing techniques.Candidates should possess foundational Cosmetology knowledge, supported by a valid cosmetology license as required by Florida regulations.Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to ensure a positive client experience and encourage repeat visits.Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to conduct consultations and explain services and products effectively.Candidates should have the ability to work standing for extended periods, manage multiple appointments, and maintain salon cleanliness and safety standards.Previous salon or hairstyling experience is preferred; familiarity with current trends, diverse hair types, and retail product recommendations is beneficial.Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to ongoing professional development and training are strongly desired.
