Proficiency in Hair Styling and Hair Care, including cutting, coloring, and finishing techniques suitable for a diverse range of hair types and textures.Formal training in Cosmetology, with a current cosmetology license (or eligibility to obtain one) in the state of Virginia.Strong Customer Service and Communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, conduct effective consultations, and provide clear aftercare guidance.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented salon environment while managing a personal client schedule responsibly and punctually.Attention to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards, including proper tool sterilization and station maintenance.Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques, products, and trends; prior experience in a salon setting is preferred.Reliable, professional, and inclusive approach to working with clients and colleagues of all backgrounds.
