40 hours a week for Full Time positions and 13 hours for the week for Part Time positions--with the potential for additional hours if desired. Both schedules do require some flexibility. Instructors are expected to ensure school policies are being followed at all times. Responsibilities • Teach the art of Hairdressing and Cosmetology • Follow provided lesson plans for theory and practical curricula • Prepare students to pass the New York State practical and written board examinations for licensure • Oversee client services to ensure proper protocols are being followed • Provide practical demonstrations of facial and makeup applications as well as proper waxing techniques • Record and maintain daily attendance • Record and enter student grades and classroom work The mission and purpose of Shear Ego International School of Hair Design is to offer men and women interested in a career in Hairdressing and Cosmetology, Barber/Styling, Esthetics, Skincare and Makeup, Nail Specialty or Waxing the opportunity for an education with a curriculum directed towards the highest standards of excellence.
