Responsibilities

Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend suitable styles and treatmentsPerform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling.Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in accordance with industry regulationsApply color theory principles to achieve desired shades and effects for clients’ hairOffer additional services like eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading to enhance client satisfactionUpsell retail products such as hair care items and styling tools to boost store salesManage front desk duties including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling paymentsMentor junior team members to foster skill development and team cohesionStay current with industry trends through ongoing education in hair styling, barbering techniques like straight razor shaves, and new product linesSkills

Proven expertise in hair styling, coloring, and advanced techniques like hair extensions and eyelash extensionsStrong knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for efficient operationsExcellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide personalized recommendationsDeep understanding of sanitation standards to ensure a safe salon environmentAbility to perform barbering services including straight razor shaves with precisionExperience in retail sales, upselling products, and retail math for inventory managementSkilled in makeup application, nail care, and threading services for comprehensive beauty solutionsEffective store management skills including front desk operations and mentoring team membersKnowledge of cosmetology laws and regulations applicable in the beauty industryEmbark on a rewarding career where your talent transforms lives!
