Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hairdresser role based at The Loft Salon in Visalia, CA. The Hairdresser will provide a range of hair services, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments, tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type. Daily responsibilities include consulting with clients, recommending appropriate styles and hair care solutions, and maintaining a clean, organized workstation and common areas. The role involves building long-term client relationships, managing appointment schedules, and handling point-of-sale transactions as needed. The Hairdresser will also support salon-wide initiatives, collaborate with colleagues, and participate in ongoing training to stay up to date with industry best practices.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Hair Styling and Hair Cutting, with the ability to work with diverse hair types and styles.Knowledge of Hair Care techniques, including treatments, product usage, and maintenance recommendations.Formal training or certification in Cosmetology and adherence to state licensing requirements.Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on listening, communication, and client satisfaction.Ability to work on-site full time, manage a consistent schedule, and collaborate effectively with salon team members.Attention to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards within a professional salon environment.Previous salon experience and familiarity with basic appointment and point-of-sale systems are beneficial.
