As a Hair Stylist, you will provide hair cuts using basic and advanced techniques. You’ll discuss the best products and hairstyles for each individual client’s needs and preferences. Most importantly, you will make it your goal to ensure that every customer leaves our salon feeling great about their new cut and happy with the services you provided.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate customers’ face shape, hair features, and personal preferences to recommend appropriate haircuts and hairstyles.Wash hair at hairwashing stations with appropriate productsApply hair treatment productsExecute flawless haircuts, trims, and shaves (straight razor)Provide customers with a wide range of hair styling options, from formal to casualQualificationsMust have a valid Texas cosmetology or barber license and at least 3 years of experience is requiredProven experience as a stylist, barber, hairdresser, or similar role is preferredIn-depth knowledge of hair cutting techniques, shaving with straight razor and best practicesFamiliar with a variety of haircare productsUp-to-date with trends in fashion.
