Responsibilities

Provide expert hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type
Perform barbering services such as straight razor shaves, beard trims, and classic cuts with precision
Apply hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and makeup to enhance client looks
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring proper sterilization procedures are followed
Utilize salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
Offer personalized hair care advice based on clients’ hair type and needs while upselling retail products to support ongoing hair health
Communicate clearly with clients about service options, aftercare instructions, and product recommendations to ensure satisfaction

Qualifications

Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry
Proficiency in salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment management and retail transactions
Strong knowledge of hair coloring techniques, color theory, and current styling trends
Skilled in hair extensions application, hair threading, nail care, and makeup application is a plus
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build lasting client relationships
Knowledge of sanitation practices and store management procedures to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute positively to team dynamics
