Your expertise in hair cutting, coloring, styling, and grooming will be complemented by your passion for customer service and your ability to build lasting relationships. Provide professional hair cutting, styling, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type Perform specialized treatments including but not limited to hair color application, highlights, balayage, perms and conditioning treatments Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations and salon protocols Utilize salon software to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently and accurately Engage with clients through excellent communication skills to understand their needs and recommend suitable services or products Upsell retail products related to hair care such as styling and hair care products and styling tools to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue Assist with front desk duties including appointment booking, client check-in/out, and managing walk-in clients Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive team environment through knowledge sharing and support Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio of diverse services performed Knowledge of salon software platforms such as ClientTrak for scheduling and client management Skilled in various hair techniques including coloring (we are a Paul Mitchell focus salon), styling, cutting, and chemical treatments Familiarity with sanitation standards specific to cosmetology practices Experience providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their desired looks and aftercare instructions Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a focus on client needs Valid Pennsylvania license in cosmetology or barbering required
