Responsibilities
Provide a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, trims, blowouts, and special occasion styles with precision and flair
Perform barbering services such as straight razor shaves, beard trims, and classic cuts to meet diverse client needs
Apply hair color using advanced techniques rooted in color theory to achieve vibrant or subtle results
Enhance client experience by offering hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and threading services while educating on maintenance and care
Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations
Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and upselling retail products such as makeup or nail care items
Qualifications
cosmetology or barbering experience in hair styling and grooming techniques
Knowledge of salon software systems like MINDBODY for efficient operations
Proficiency in hair extensions application, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application is a plus
Strong communication skills to connect with clients and understand their desired looks
Ability to perform retail sales through upselling products such as retail math strategies suggest
Experience with sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
Demonstrated leadership skills or mentoring experience preferred for those interested in store management opportunities
