The Galleria Hair Salon | Houston, TX | Hair Stylist (Men's Cutting Experience Required)

We're looking for a licensed stylist who is comfortable cutting men's hair and performing fades.

You do not need to know everything to apply for this position. If you have a solid foundation in haircutting and are coachable, we can teach the rest through hands-on, one-on-one training.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys cutting hair, wants to improve quickly, and is looking for a long-term salon home with a supportive team.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type
Learn and implement new cutting techniques
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations and salon policies
Use salon software like Vagaro to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
Provide expert advice on hair care products and retail items to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue
Contribute to a positive team enviroment

Requirements

Valid Cosmetology License
Comfortable with men's haircuts and fades (Required)
Some experience with women's haircuts and/or color (Preferred)
At least 1 year of salon experience
Team-oriented mindset
Willingness to learn new techniques like hair threading or advanced coloring methods
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for connecting with people
