We're growing at Roxo Salon & Boutique and looking for a stylist who loves beautiful hair, a luxury vibe, and a team that actually supports you. This is a hairstylist and makeup artist position. We do a lot of special events and we're looking for someone to join our team.
Duties

Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, blowouts, updos, braiding, and hair extensions to meet client needs and preferencesApply professional makeup for special events, ensuring each look complements the client’s features and occasionConsult with clients to understand their desired styles and provide expert recommendations based on current trends and color theory principlesMaintain high standards of sanitation and sanitation procedures for tools, workstations, and products in compliance with health regulationsOffer retail product suggestions related to hair care & styling tools to enhance client results and increase sales through upselling techniquesAssist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and supporting store management activities such as inventory checks and mentoring new team membersExperience

Proven experience in hair styling, cutting, & coloring techniques based on color theory.Skilled in makeup application for various skin tones and event types.Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team membersPrevious experience in retail sales, upselling products, store management or mentoring junior staff is advantageous.We’re committed to fostering an energetic atmosphere that celebrates creativity while ensuring every client leaves feeling their best.
