Piccolinos Haircuts is growing, and we are looking for a talented, patient, friendly, and dependable Florida-licensed Hair Stylist who enjoys working with children, teens, and families.
We are building a workplace where great stylists can earn well, enjoy flexibility, develop loyal clients, grow professionally, and be rewarded for staying with the company long term.
COMPENSATION
Guaranteed Base Pay: $16–$18 per hour + Tips
Starting base pay will be determined based on experience, technical skills, availability, licensing, and ability to work confidently with children and families.
In addition to the guaranteed hourly base wage, stylists receive eligible customer tips.
With base pay, customer tips, Paid Time Off benefits, and long-term retention bonuses, stylists may have the potential to achieve an overall compensation value of approximately:
$30–$50 PER HOUR*
Actual compensation varies based on client volume, hours worked, customer tipping, experience, services performed, retention milestones, and other factors.
UP TO $5,000 IN LONG-TERM RETENTION BONUSES
We want to reward team members who choose to build a long-term career with Piccolinos.
After 1 Year: $1,000 Retention Bonus
After 2 Years: +$1,500 Retention Bonus
After 3 Years: +$2,500 Retention Bonus
Total Potential Retention Bonuses: $5,000
The program is cumulative:
Year 1 completed: $1,000 total earned
Year 2 completed: $2,500 cumulative
Year 3 completed: $5,000 cumulative
The largest bonus is intentionally reserved for the third-year milestone because we want to recognize employees who make Piccolinos a long-term part of their career.
Retention bonuses are paid in addition to regular hourly wages and tips and are processed as taxable W-2 compensation.
PAID TIME OFF THAT GROWS WITH YOUR HOURS
Piccolinos provides Paid Time Off (PTO) based on the number of eligible regular hours you work.
The benefit is designed to provide approximately two average workweeks of PTO during a complete employment anniversary year, up to a maximum of 80 PTO hours annually.
Examples:
20 average hours/week → approximately 40 PTO hours/year
24 average hours/week → approximately 48 PTO hours/year
28 average hours/week → approximately 56 PTO hours/year
32 average hours/week → approximately 64 PTO hours/year
36 average hours/week → approximately 72 PTO hours/year
40 average hours/week → approximately 80 PTO hours/year
PTO may be used for vacation, personal time, illness, appointments, family needs, rest, or other approved time away from work.
Because schedules may vary, PTO is tracked in hours rather than fixed days.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING
We understand that every employee's schedule and personal needs are different.
Piccolinos offers a flexible scheduling environment, and weekly hours do not need to be identical every week.
Hours may vary based on:
Employee availability
Client appointments
Seasonal demand
Salon needs
Mutually agreed scheduling changes

Your hourly rate will be reviewed periodically based on factors such as:
Quality of haircuts and styling
Customer satisfaction
Client retention
Reliability and attendance
Professional development
New technical skills
Teamwork
Productivity
Overall contribution to Piccolinos
A compensation review does not guarantee an increase, but it provides a regular opportunity to recognize strong performance and growth.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Piccolinos Hair Stylist, you will:
Perform professional haircuts for children, teens, and young clients
Work confidently with different hair types, textures, lengths, and styles
Consult with parents and clients regarding desired cuts and styling
Create a calm, patient, positive experience for children
Perform styling and other services permitted under your professional license
Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation
Help maintain clean and organized shared salon areas
Support smooth appointment flow
Communicate professionally with parents, children, coworkers, and management
Help create an experience that encourages families to return
Continue developing your technical and customer-service skills
