The Hair Parlor on 8th is looking for an experienced Los Angeles stylist who is ready to transition into a commission-based salon, expand their clientele, and grow alongside a collaborative team.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal stylist:
Has 5+ years of professional salon experience in Los Angeles
Is confident in both cutting and coloring
Has a partial or established LA clientele
Holds a current California cosmetology or barber license
Is motivated, professional, and committed to growing
Values teamwork, education, artistry, and an elevated guest experience
Wants the independence to build their career—with the support of a salon team

ABOUT THE HAIR PARLOR ON 8TH
We’re an Art Deco–inspired, community-loved salon in the heart of Los Angeles, serving Hollywood, West Hollywood, Mid-City, Miracle Mile, Hancock Park, Carthay Square, Beverlywood, and West LA.
We specialize in precision haircuts, dimensional color and blonding, extensions, and smoothing and conditioning treatments.
We’re a small, close-knit team that values quality over quantity. We care about beautiful work, genuine connections, exceptional service, and building fulfilling careers without burnout.
