We are looking for a Hair Stylist to create traditional hairstyles for our seniors.. Hair Stylist responsibilities include cutting hair using basic and advanced techniques, consulting customers about styles and colors and applying hair care products. If you have experience cutting short and long hair for men and woman we would like to meet you. Experience with seniors a plus.
Responsibilities
Welcome our residents and identify their preferences by asking pointed questionsRecommend hairstyles and haircuts according to customers’ face shapes and tastesWash, rinse and dry clients’ hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners (e.g. for oily hair or dry scalp)Cut, trim and shave hair using professional equipmentApply basic hair coloring techniquesKnowledge of permsBasic manicuresForm bonds with our residents and remember their hairstyle preferencesManage bookings and serve walk-ins. You bill the resident/family directlyEnsure tidiness of beauty stations and sterilize tools, as neededSalon Rental $300 a month. First 2 months free.Skills
Work experience as a Hair Stylist, Hairdresser, Colorist or similar roleProficiency in hair straightening and curling methods, using hot irons and curlers, perms and manicuresFamiliarity with hair treatment products and servicesUp-to-date with industry standardsExcellent communication skillsPhysical stamina to stand for long hoursValid license from a cosmetology schoolBackground check requiredJob Types: Part-time, Contract
