Cutters & Co. is looking for the right stylist to join our established team inside the Chase Park Plaza in St. Louis’s Central West End.

We exclusively serve men. You do not need to bring a book of clients.

You bring the talent. We provide the clients.

Fiercely independent. Not a chain. Never corporate.

Prefer part-time? Selective part-time opportunities are also available for the right stylist.

Compensation

$56,000–$80,000+ Estimated Full-Time Cash Compensation

$24 guaranteed hourly base + 6% service revenue share on every haircut and beard trim

Plus customer gratuities averaging approximately $5+ per haircut

Plus annual raises

At a typical two-haircut service pace, base pay, revenue share and average gratuities can produce approximately $38 in cash compensation for that productive hour — with additional upside from productivity and gratuities.

Cutters is dedicated exclusively to men’s grooming.

We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in men’s haircutting, clipper and shear work, blending, finishing and beard grooming — and someone who enjoys building relationships with regular clients.

Our team includes a former longtime Paul Mitchell instructor who provides technical mentorship and guidance.

Cutters has been independently owned for 21 years and is operated by a husband-and-wife team with decades of salon-management experience.

Schedule & Requirements

Full-time: approximately 30–35 hours per week
Part-time: selective schedules available for the right stylist
Saturday availability required
Every Sunday off
Closed major holidays
Active Missouri cosmetology license required
Demonstrated experience cutting men’s hair required
