Hair Stylist (Commission or Booth Rent)

Overview

Adelaide Beauty, an new upscale salon on Battleground Ave in Greensboro, is hiring licensed hairstylists for both booth rental and commission positions. Booth renters get the freedom to run their own business with their own schedule, pricing, and clientele, starting at $300/week with hydraulic chair, styling station/mirror, towels, and a personal locker in the break room for belongings. Shared items include shampoo bowls, towels, capes, dryers, laundry/mixing room workspace only, restroom and breakroom access.

Commission stylists get a steady flow of salon-generated clients, online booking through Phorest, and marketing support so they can focus on building their book without the overhead.

Both roles join a supportive, professional team in a modern open-floor salon with a card-on-file booking policy that protects your time. A valid NC cosmetology license is required, and experience with an existing clientele is a plus but not required for commission. Responsibilities

Consult with clients, recommend services, and deliver haircuts, styling, coloring, and hair care tailored to their needs.
Help clients feel confident and supported in their style choices by listening closely and providing personalized services.
Maintain clean, sanitized tools and work areas, and follow applicable salon and cosmetology requirements.
Support salon operations as needed, including front desk tasks, appointment scheduling, retail sales, routine cleaning and product recommendations.
Build your clientele through clear communication, reliable service, and appropriate service or product suggestions.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
