In this position, the stylist provides all of their own supplies, pays rent for the chair and takes responsibility for all aspects of running their own business. Stylist Responsibilities Maintain a friendly, professional approach and provide exceptional service to all customers.Rental fees are due on the 1st day of the week in advanceMaintain all necessary record keeping.Qualifications Active NYS license for hairstyling or barbering is requiredNYS renters area license kept currentProven experience as a stylist, hairdresser, or similar role is preferredCurly hair experience is a big plusIn-depth knowledge of hair cutting techniques and best practicesSkilled at hair coloring, straightening, and curling techniquesFamiliar with a variety of treatment productsUp-to-date with trends in fashion and beautyChair Rentals We have 3 chairs available to rent at $200 per week.We have a private room available to rent for masseuse or facials for $150 per weekAdditional income All stylists can receive a 10% commission paid on all salon retail products sold.
