Hair Stylist/ Booth Renter

Theory Hair Studio, San Diego's Premier L'Oreal Professionnel, and Oribe Salon is searching for the ideal Highly Skilled Hair Stylist to join our team in the heart of Little Italy!

The perfect candidate should be passionate about the beauty industry and display a balance of enthusiasm and poise in a fluid and challenging work environment. They must have an enduring commitment to quality job performance. The candidate should also be open to constructive feedback to collaborate in a tightknit environment, ability to critically think and execute tasks independently, in a professional manner.

Qualifications (including but not limited to):

– Valid California Cosmetology License

– Must have assisted minimum of one year from a former salon

– Must have worked as a stylist minimum of two years

– Must have existing clientele in San Diego, CA

– Must be able to manage basic admin tasks as needed such as answering phone calls and scheduling appointments

– Strong ability to provide all Haircuts and Colors independently

– Knowledge of L’Oreal Professionnel, Kerastase and Oribe products are a plus

– Maintain work station clean and sanitize tools such as shears and combs

– Update and maintain client’s information and records, such as services provides and formulas

– Demonstrate and recommend products suitable to client’s needs

– Coach and supervise other stylists and assistants as needed to elevate our team

– Develops objective and strategies to market, grow clientele and skills

– Pay rent and all business associated costs on time

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Commission

Pay: $50,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
