About the role
Salon Kismet is a luxury blowout and spray tan studio opening in Pittsburgh's Strip District / Lawrenceville neighborhood. We're building a team of passionate, client-obsessed stylists who take pride in their craft and want to grow with an elevated beauty brand. This part-time role is perfect for an experienced stylist who loves the art of the blowout and is excited to add spray tanning to their skill set.
What you'll do
Deliver flawless blowouts — from sleek and straight to voluminous curls — tailored to each client's hair type and vision
Provide exceptional, personalized client experiences from check-in through checkout
Learn and master our signature spray tan techniques using premium solution (training provided)
Consult with clients to recommend services, prep routines, and aftercare
Maintain a clean, organized, and luxurious studio environment that reflects the Salon Kismet brand
Follow all sanitation, safety, and product protocols
Collaborate with a small, supportive team and contribute to a positive studio culture
What we're looking for
Valid Pennsylvania cosmetology license (required)
Minimum 1+ year of experience in a professional salon setting
Strong blowout and styling skills across a variety of hair textures and lengths
Open and enthusiastic about learning spray tan application — no prior experience required
Warm, welcoming communication style with a genuine love for client service
Reliable, punctual, and professional — your clients count on you
Detail-oriented and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality results
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-first environment
Pay: $12.00 - $40.00 per hour
