Hair Stylist / Barber

Responsibilities Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions tailored to client preferences.Execute specialized treatments such as eyelash extensions, hair threading, and makeup application.Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations.Upsell retail products such as hair care items, styling tools, and nail care products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling payments efficiently.Assist in store management tasks when needed, including inventory management and merchandising.Qualifications Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of sanitation standards.Proficiency in hair styling techniques, color theory, and advanced barbering skills such as straight razor shaving.Experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application is preferred.Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with clients professionally and courteously.Knowledge of retail math and upselling strategies to maximize sales opportunities.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Previous experience in store management or mentoring roles is a plus but not required.
