Duties

Provide professional hair cutting, styling, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs.Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction.Utilize salon software systems like square to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools, cleaning workstations, and adhering to health regulations to ensure a safe environment.Offer expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales to boost client loyalty and salon revenue through upselling.Demonstrate strong communication skills by actively listening to clients’ desires and providing personalized recommendations.Mentor junior team members and assist with store management tasks to foster a collaborative and professional atmosphere.Qualifications

Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and grooming techniques.Valid independent contractor license.Proficiency in advanced services such as hair extensions, color theory, straight razor shaves, and hair threading.Knowledge of salon software platforms like Square for appointment booking and retail management.Strong understanding of sanitation practices and health regulations within a salon setting.Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients.Experience in retail sales, upselling products, and store management is highly desirable.Additional skills in makeup application, eyelash extensions, nail care, and retail math are a plus.
