In this vibrant role, you’ll combine technical expertise with outstanding customer service to craft personalized hairstyles, haircuts, and grooming services that leave clients feeling confident and refreshed. Perform a variety of hair styling, cutting, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type Utilize advanced techniques such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to enhance client looks Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations Provide expert consultations on hair care, color theory, and styling options to help clients achieve their desired results Operate salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail sales transactions Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing bookings, and upselling retail products such as nail care items or makeup products Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, barbering, and customer service to foster a collaborative environment Proficiency in hair styling, coloring, and haircutting techniques for diverse hair types Experience with salon software platforms such as MINDBODY for efficient scheduling and client management Strong knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff Expertise in barbering skills including straight razor shaves and traditional grooming services Ability to perform specialized treatments like eyelash extensions and nail care with precision Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and deliver personalized recommendations Retail sales acumen with the ability to upsell products like hair care lines or retail math principles for inventory management Knowledge of store management principles to contribute to overall salon operations and team mentoring Familiarity with makeup application techniques to complement hairstyling services Ability to work collaboratively at the front desk while providing outstanding customer service
