Responsibilities

Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, styling, coloring, extensions, and straight razor shaves with precision and creativity
Provide expert consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable styles or treatments
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health regulations
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficiently
Assist clients with retail product recommendations and upselling to enhance their salon experience
Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, booking appointments, and handling inquiries professionally
Mentor junior staff and apprentices to promote skill development and team cohesion

Experience

Proven experience as a hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and techniques
Knowledge of hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading is highly desirable
Familiarity with color theory to achieve vibrant or subtle color results confidently
Experience using salon management software such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management
Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
Ability to perform retail sales with retail math skills to meet sales goals while providing excellent customer service
Certification in Cosmetology or Barbering from an accredited program is required; additional training in sanitation standards is essential

Pay: $26.17 - $31.52 per hour
