Position Overview
The Licensed Barber is responsible for delivering high-quality grooming services in a luxury men’s salon environment. This role requires exceptional technical skill, strong client communication, and a polished professional presence. Barbers at Sharp & Suited must uphold the highest standards of service, presentation, and client experience.
Key Responsibilities1. Grooming & Barbering Services
Provide precision haircuts, fades, tapers, beard trims, line-ups, and razor shaves.
Execute classic and modern barbering techniques with consistency.
Perform hot towel treatments, grooming enhancements, and add-on services.
2. Client Care
Conduct thorough consultations to understand client preferences.
Maintain a luxury-level guest experience at all times.
Build long-term relationships that encourage repeat visits and membership enrollment.
3. Professional Standards
Maintain a clean, sanitized workstation according to Nevada State Board standards.
Uphold Sharp & Suited dress code and grooming expectations.
Arrive on time and prepared for daily operations.
4. Sales & Upselling
Recommend retail grooming products and add-on services.
Promote membership packages and participate in brand sales initiatives.
5. Collaboration
Work cohesively with cosmetologists, nail techs, reception, and massage practitioners.
Support the overall flow of the shop, including assisting with customer service tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Current Nevada Barber License (required).
Minimum 2–3 years of professional barbering experience.
Strong technical ability in modern and traditional barbering.
Excellent communication, customer service, and professionalism.
Ability to maintain a calm, polished presence in a fast-paced environment.
A strong understanding of sanitation, safety, and grooming standards.
Compensation & Incentives
52/48 commission split (48% to the barber, 52% to the owner).
7% retail commission on product sales.
$25 bonus for each new membership sold.
Quarterly performance incentives ranging from $150–$1,000 based on consistency.
