Provide professional hair styling, haircutting, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs Perform specialized services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas according to health regulations Offer expert advice on hair color options based on color theory principles and current trends Upsell retail products including hair care items, styling tools, and beauty accessories to boost store sales Assist at the front desk with client check-ins, scheduling appointments, and managing walk-in traffic Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, barbering, and customer service excellence Manage retail math to ensure accurate inventory control and maximize sales opportunities Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in cutting, styling, and grooming techniques Proficiency in advanced skills such as hair extensions, straight razor shaves, hair threading, eyelash extensions, and makeup application Strong knowledge of salon software systems like MINDBODY for efficient appointment booking and client management Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their desired looks Demonstrated ability in retail sales and upselling to enhance revenue streams Commitment to sanitation standards and safety protocols within the salon environment Experience in store management or leadership roles is a plus but not required Passion for continuous learning about new trends in hair styling, coloring techniques, and beauty treatments
