Join our growing team as a Hair Stylist and/or Barber and unleash your creativity in an established but newly-renovated studio/salon. In this role, you will deliver exceptional hair styling, barbering, and grooming services that leave clients feeling confident and refreshed. Whether you're passionate about classic cuts or modern styles, your expertise will shine here. We’re dedicated to fostering a positive atmosphere where your skills grow because we have a great salon manager who is willing to share her years of experience. This paid position (commission with bonus potential) has steady walk-in potential and offers opportunities to develop your book. We'll offer a one-time sign-on bonus for professionals with a book of business.

Duties

Perform a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, trims and more if you're up to it.Execute precise barbering techniques like straight razor shaves, fades, and beard grooming to meet client preferences.Provide expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales to enhance client satisfaction.Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness according to industry regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.Experience with GlossGenius is a plus for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail transactions.Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing bookings, and handling payments efficiently.Assist with daily upkeep and ensure cleanliness of studio/salon.Skills

Proven experience in hair styling and barbering with knowledge of current trends and techniques.Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and understand their beauty goals clearly.Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a hygienic workspace at all times.Great customer service.Visit our website at www.hairandbeautyco.com!

Pay: $500.00 - $1,200.00 per week
