We’re looking for a motivated, positive Salon Assistant to join our team! This is an opportunity to work hand in hand with the salon owner, gaining hands-on experience, personalized education, and insight into both salon operations and the wedding industry.

At Collaboration Salon, we have a strong focus on hair cutting, lived-in color, and wedding hair and makeup. We’re a team that is always learning and growing, and we’re looking for someone who wants to do the same.

Our wedding business is a significant part of what we do, so we’re especially interested in someone who is excited about learning and eventually working in the bridal industry.

Above all, we strive to provide the best experience for our clients possible. We are looking for someone who will join us in excelling in customer service.

What You’ll Do

Work closely with the salon owner and support day-to-day salon operationsShampoo and prepare clients for servicesBlow-dry and assist with salon servicesAssist with wedding hair and makeup servicesHelp maintain a clean, organized, welcoming salonMaintain cleanliness according to state board rules and regulationsSupport the team in creating an exceptional client experienceLearn the behind-the-scenes operations of running a salon and wedding businessWhat We’re Looking For

Active Minnesota cosmetology license requiredWeekend availability required — our wedding business is busiest on weekendsReliable, hardworking, and eager to learnPositive attitude and team-oriented mindsetInterested in developing skills in hair cutting, lived-in color, and bridal hairExcited about the possibility of working in the wedding industryTakes initiative and is open to feedback and educationSomeone who contributes to a positive, encouraging, drama-free cultureA growth mindset and genuine desire to continue learningWhat We Offer
