Hair Stylist Assistant

We are seeking a talented hair stylist assistant to join our salon team. As a Hair Stylist Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of hair care services to our clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments. Duties:

- Provide exceptional hair care services to clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments

- Perform installation of hair extensions

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and beauty

- Mentor and train junior stylists as needed

- Maintain a clean and organized work station

- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences

- Recommend appropriate hair care products to clients

- Upsell salon services and products to enhance the client experience

Qualifications:

- Valid cosmetology license required

- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role

- Proficient in various hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and treatments

- Knowledge of color theory and ability to create customized color formulas

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen to client needs and provide recommendations

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $16.90 - $30.00 per hour
