Assistant Hair Stylist responsibilities include braiding using basic and advanced techniques, consulting customers about styles and colors and applying hair care products, like treatment oils and masks. If you have experience cutting short and long hair and are up-to-date with styling trends, we’d like to meet you. Work experience as a Hair Stylist, Assistant, Braider or similar roleProficiency in hair straightening and curling methods, using hot irons and curlersHands-on experience with various coloring techniquesKnowledge of a wide range of haircuts, suitable for all hair lengths (e.g. braids and top knots)Familiarity with hair treatment products and services, like keratin smoothingUp-to-date with industry trendsExcellent communication skillsPhysical stamina to stand for long hoursFlexibility to work in shiftsCurrently enrolled in a Cosmetology program, completed a Cosmetology program, Temporarily licensed, or have valid Cosmetology / Natural Hair Styling licenseJob Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary, Internship Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour Benefits:
