Position Overview

The Hair Assistant will primarily be responsible for shampooing clients and assisting stylists in the hair service area. This role is essential to ensuring each client receives attentive care and that services run seamlessly throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

Shampoo and condition clients before services
Assist stylists with hair services including color, treatments, blow-drying, and styling
Prepare clients and stations for appointments
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the hair area
Sanitize tools and equipment according to state board regulations
Keep product shelves stocked and organized
Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive salon experience

Requirements

Must have a valid hair/cosmetology license
Previous salon experience preferred but not required
Professional appearance and strong work ethic
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $21.30 per hour
