The Salon Manager oversees all operations of the salon, equipping the team with leadership and tools to enhance their clientele and boost the business. This role includes providing a full range of hair care services and ensuring that guest service standards are met with excellence. By focusing on quality consultations and exceptional service, you will help each guest achieve their desired look and enable them to replicate it at home.

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid cosmetology or barber license, along with a manager license as per state/provincial regulations.Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.Exceptional guest service skills, with the ability to understand and meet guests' needs through quality consultations.Competence in performing administrative tasks including scheduling, managing transactions, and maintaining salon cleanliness.Strong problem-solving skills to resolve guest issues effectively.Leadership capability to develop and motivate the team, fostering a positive work environment and providing training on both business and technical skills.Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods.Frequent lifting of items up to 10 pounds, and up to 25 pounds occasionally.Repetitive movement of fingers, hands, wrists, and arms.Continuous grasping and reaching, often above shoulder level.Exposure to various chemicals and fragrances common in salon services.Capability to observe and analyze guests' hair with close vision and color discrimination.Effective communication skills to interact with guests regarding services and their preferences.Occasional travel for meetings outside the salon, including overnight stays.
