Hair Stylist (and Makeup Artist for Special Events)

Job Overview We're growing at Roxo Salon & Boutique and looking for a stylist who loves beautiful hair, a luxury vibe, and a team that actually supports you. This is a hairstylist and makeup artist position. We do a lot of special events and we're looking for someone to join our team. Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, blowouts, updos, braiding, and hair extensions to meet client needs and preferences Apply professional makeup for special events, ensuring each look complements the client’s features and occasion Consult with clients to understand their desired styles and provide expert recommendations based on current trends and color theory principles Maintain high standards of sanitation and sanitation procedures for tools, workstations, and products in compliance with health regulations Offer retail product suggestions related to hair care & styling tools to enhance client results and increase sales through upselling techniques Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and supporting store management activities such as inventory checks and mentoring new team members
