Responsibilities

Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, extensions, and texturizing treatments with precision and artistry
Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles or treatments based on hair type and face shape
Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations after each client
Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to provide innovative solutions and upsell appropriate services or retail items
Communicate clearly with clients throughout their service to ensure satisfaction and foster long term relationships

Qualifications

Valid cosmetology or barbering license in NYS with experience working in the beauty industry
Strong knowledge of hair care products, color theory, hair coloring techniques, and sanitation protocols
Skilled in hair color, blonding, and cutting. hair extensions is a plus
Excellent communication skills for client consultation and team collaboration
Ability to perform detailed work with attention to sanitation standards and safety regulations

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
