**Hair Stylist – Bayside Spa at Horseshoe Bay Resort**

**About the Resort & Spa**

Bayside Spa at Horseshoe Bay Resort is located along the shores of Lake LBJ in the Texas Hill Country, approximately 45 miles northwest of Austin. The spa offers a lakeside setting within landscaped resort grounds and delivers a full range of services, including massage therapy, body treatments, and salon services.

The environment combines natural surroundings with a professional spa setting, serving both leisure guests and conference visitors.

**Position Summary**

The Hair Stylist is responsible for delivering professional salon services to guests and members while maintaining service quality and operational standards in a resort spa environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and texturizing
* Consult with clients to assess needs and recommend services and products
* Promote retail products and home-care solutions
* Maintain sanitation standards for workstations, tools, and equipment
* Prepare and restock supplies to support daily operations
* Address guest questions and service concerns in a timely, professional manner
* Participate in training, team meetings, and cross-functional support as needed
* Monitor product usage and contribute to retail and service revenue goals

**Qualifications**

* Minimum 2 years of professional hair styling experience
* Current state cosmetology license required
* Strong technical skills in cutting, coloring, and treatments
* Effective communication and customer service skills
* Organized and able to work independently
* Ability to stand for extended periods

**Requirements**

* Must be at least 18 years old
* Completion of a cosmetology program (technical/vocational training)
* Basic computer skills for scheduling and transactions
