Hair Stylist

Malcolm's Hair Salons have a well-established presence in the communities where our salons are located. We have been in the beauty industry for 50 years. We have four locations across NEPA, Scranton, Dunmore, Dallas & Clarks Summit. We have positions available in all four locations. We offer part-time & full-time shifts. We are open days, nights and weekends and offer a schedule that works with your other commitments.

Stylist Responsibilities & Skills

*Current Pa Cosmetology license or Temp license.

*Welcome clients and identify what services need to be performed by asking questions and making recommendation of services.

*Performs services including cutting, coloring, styling, setting, waxing and other salon services with skill and proficiency.

*Ensures tidiness and upkeep of tools to perform services.

*Recommends at home haircare products to support salon services.

*Takes pictures of your work for us to promote you and the salon on our social media outlets and our website.

*Develop and promote appointment book by re-booking clients and getting referrals.

*Stays current on new trends in cutting, coloring, techniques and skills. In house education and online education provided.

*Excellent communication skills

*Flexible to work in shifts.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $40.00 per hour
