Role Description
We are hiring preferably for full-time and open to part-time on-site Hair Salon Assistant position at our: West Charleston Blvd location. This role is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or someone eager to grow their career in the beauty industry. As a Hair Salon Assistant, you will support senior stylists, provide basic hair care services, and maintain a clean, organized, and professional salon environment. You’ll also have the chance to join our structured 2-year career development program, offering a clear path for advancement from Assistant Stylist to Stylist, Senior Stylist (commission-based), and ultimately Master Stylist.
Key Responsibilities
Assist senior stylists with daily tasks, including greeting clients, preparing workstations, and ensuring a tidy salon environment.
Provide exceptional hair services, such as washing, rinsing, and preparatory tasks for clients.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat visits.
Schedule and manage appointments efficiently.
Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products, particularly in premium hair extensions and color services.
Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a positive and professional atmosphere.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license in Nevada
0-2 years of experience in a salon setting (previous experience is a plus but not required)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Eagerness to learn and grow within the beauty industry
Organizational skills to maintain a clean and orderly salon environment
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service
Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends
High school diploma or equivalent

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
