Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly and ensure a welcoming salon environment from front desk to styling stationsAssist stylists with hair care services including shampooing, blow-drying, and applying hair treatmentsSupport with hair coloring, highlights, balayage, and hair extensions to meet client requestsMaintain salon sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring proper sterilization of equipment like straight razors and scissorsProvide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their desired looks and aftercare instructionsUpsell retail products related to hair care, styling tools, and nail or makeup items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenueSupport store management in inventory organization, retail sales tracking, and maintaining a clean, professional workspaceMentor new team members in salon procedures, product knowledge, and customer communication techniquesQualifications

Previous experience working in the beauty industry or a strong passion for hair styling and customer serviceKnowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for appointment managementProficiency in hair care techniques including coloring, styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup applicationSkilled in sanitation practices for tools like straight razors and barbering equipment to ensure client safetyUnderstanding of color theory to assist with hair coloring services effectivelyValid cosmetology or barbering license as required by local regulationsExcellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and team members professionallyAbility to multitask efficiently at the front desk while providing top-tier client serviceEmbark on a rewarding career where your talents are celebrated!
