Your multitasking skills and passion for beauty will contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences while ensuring the salon runs efficiently. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in hair styling, customer service, and salon management in a lively, supportive environment. You can also be trained by Christine Goodis privately even if you are not in the beauty industry.

Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly upon arrival, creating an inviting atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
Manage appointment scheduling using salon software such as MINDBODY ensuring optimal flow of clients throughout the day. We use Salon Biz software.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all workstations, including tools for hair styling, straight razors, and other equipment.
Handle front desk duties such as answering phone calls, checking clients in/out, and managing client records efficiently.
Mask wearing is mandatory during flu season September-April

Requirements

Basic knowledge of salon operations including appointment booking system.
Strong communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members
Ability to perform retail math for selling products effectively while maintaining excellent customer service under Christine's direction.
Familiarity with cosmetology or barbering licensing requirements is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level applicants

Pay: $21.89 - $26.36 per hour
