Karina's Salon is seeking ONE TO TWO Salon Assistants (Shampoo Assistant/Salon Apprentice) to join us on a part-time to full-time basis, working on-site at our salon in Richmond, VA. Previous experience as a shampoo assistant or in a similar role is preferred Proven work experience in a Customer Service setting Knowledge of industry trends, styles, and techniques is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A client-oriented approach and ability to build long-lasting and loyal customer relationships Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be detail-oriented and able to follow instructions accurately Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment Must be efficient in time-management, as well as being open receiving knowledge and instruction Upselling skills to promote salon products and services We get to know our clients to learn their lifestyles, hair goals, and more as we help them to find their best look.
