Hair Salon Assistant

Salon on East is looking for a new Salon assistant to join our family! We are a small, tight knit salon located in a great location off of East Boulevard. We have ample parking available, over 200 GENEROUS clients, and we offer a 401k on top of your hourly and tip wages! With over 30 years of experience, our owners Chuck Smith and Craig Davis are awesome people to work for, and offer so much education to each of their stylists. Our salon hours are from 6AM to 3PM with our busiest hours being between 6AM and 8AM. If you are looking for a good team to build your skills, apply with us!

Duties:
- Assist salon stylists with various tasks such as shampooing, conditioning, and blow-drying hair
- Prepare salon stations and ensure they are clean and well-stocked with supplies
- Greet clients and provide excellent customer service
- Assist with passing foils, color work, etc.
- Cleaning the salon
- Sanitize salon tools and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment

Requirements:
- Experience not required - we will train you!
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work well within a team and take direction from salon stylists
