Hair Colorist – Luxury Human Hair Wigs

The Wig Fairy is a luxury human hair wig and topper salon specializing in customized solutions for women experiencing hair loss. We are looking for a talented, detail-oriented Hair Colorist to join our Los Angeles team.

Our ideal candidate has strong experience working with human hair, excellent color-matching skills, and understands the importance of maintaining the quality and integrity of the hair throughout the coloring process.

Responsibilities

Custom color human hair wigs and toppers
Perform toners, glosses, root taps, highlights, lowlights and dimensional color
Accurately color-match wigs and toppers to clients' natural hair or desired color
Perform color corrections when appropriate
Follow detailed client order tickets and formulas
Conduct strand tests when necessary
Protect the integrity of the hair, lace and wig construction throughout the coloring process
Maintain detailed and accurate color formulas
Assist with maintaining and organizing color inventory
Keep the color station clean, organized and professional
Follow all company procedures and quality-control standards

What We're Looking For

Professional cosmetology license
Strong hair-coloring and color-theory knowledge
Experience with highlights, toning, root work and color correction
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
Ability to accurately recreate and match colors
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, luxury salon environment
Reliable, organized and team-oriented
Experience working with human hair wigs, toppers or extensions is a plus, but we are willing to train the right experienced colorist

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Salon Hours: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
