Hair Care Specialist

At Zimoras 1 Stop Beauty Bar, Hair Care Specialists create a luxury salon experience by preparing clients for services through professional shampooing, scalp and conditioning treatments, blow-drying, and stylist support. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the beauty industry who are committed to exceptional client care and career growth in a luxury salon environment.

Essential Responsibilities

Welcome clients with exceptional customer service.
Perform shampoo, scalp massage, conditioning, and restorative hair treatments.
Blow-dry and prepare clients for haircut, color, extension, wig, and styling services.
Assist stylists with client preparation and salon operations.
Maintain clean, sanitized workstations, tools, shampoo areas, and equipment.
Prepare service stations and launder towels, capes, and linens.
Monitor product inventory and report supply needs.
Recommend professional home-care products and support retail sales.
Follow all sanitation, safety, and Pennsylvania State Board of Cosmetology regulations.
Maintain a clean, welcoming, luxury salon environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Passion for the beauty industry and client service.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and dependable work ethic.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred

Experience in a salon, spa, hospitality, or retail environment.
Cosmetology student or Pennsylvania cosmetology license.
Experience with shampooing, blow-drying, and hair treatments.
Knowledge of professional haircare products.
Retail sales experience.
